Dr. Simon grew up and received his early education in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. He graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor Of Science Degree and his Dental Degree in 1990. Dr. Simon opened his first practice in Newmarket in 1991. Eight years later he opened the much larger and professionally designed Simon Dental Centre. This new facility allows for all services and facets of family, cosmetic and specialty dentistry. In past, Dr. Simon was an instructor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. Currently in addition to his Newmarket practice he has courtesy privileges in the Department of Surgery at York Central Hospital. Dr. Simon spends one day a month assisting major Oral Maxillofacial Surgery including jaw fracture, jaw reconstruction and correction of dental facial deformities. Dr. Simon is also active in the community associated with charity fund raisers and sponsors a number of sports teams.
