Dr Caceres graduated as a Medical Doctor and Surgeon in Peru. He studied Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture in South Florida and graduated with an Honorable Mention for Outstanding Research in Oriental Medicine. Dr. Caceres has dedicated his life to helping patients regain their optimal health through natural therapies, such as acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, clinical nutrition, and herbal medicine.
What makes your practice special when compared with others in the area?
Helping patients in the Brandon and Tampa areas simce 2004. We specialize in helping patients with pain, weight management issues, fertility and other women's health conditions. Dr. Caceres was a teacher and professor of Western Sciences at the South East College of Oriental Medicine for 4 years, until his relocation to Tampa Bay. He has taught fellow acupuncturists the technique of Acupoint Injection Therapy. Our clinic is also an externship location for the East West College of Oriental Medicine, where Dr. Caceres may mentor acupuncture students.
What are you and your team proud of at your practice?
Dr. Guillermo Caceres has been involved in the health field for over 35 years. He is a Medical Doctor/Surgeon graduated from the Medical Faculty of «San Fernando» at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Peru. He worked in Western medicine at the at Kendall and Memorial Hospitals in South Florida for over ten years, when he moved to the United States. "Dr. C." decided to study Acupuncture and Chinese medicine, so he would be able to better serve patients through holistic medicine.A firm believer in alternative medicine, he has dedicated his life to helping patients achieve their optimum health through natural therapies. Dr. Caceres is trained in TCM Injection Therapies and specializes in the use of acupuncture for the treatment of infertility and women’s health issues. Dr. Caceres’s grasp of integrative medical approaches make him a highly sought teacher of advanced clinical techniques. He is a former member of the faculty at SEIOM College, where he taught Anatomy and Western Sciences for four years after graduation from Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine studies. He has taught Acupoint Injection Therapies at the East West College of Oriental Medicine in Orlando to fellow Acupuncture Physicians, colleagues and acupuncture students. Dr C. believes that an integrative approach, including Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, and Nutritional Therapies should be considered as part of everyone's lives to get back to health, maintain your health and enjoy life, living it to the fullest. Dr. Caceres is an active member of the community, giving lectures about Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Homeopathy and Natural Fertility at health seminars, bookstores and television.
