What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?
Following a comprehensive assessment, I develop treatment plans for each patient that is specific to their symptoms and goals. Treatment programs typically consist of soft tissue therapies including Myofascial Release, Graston Technique and stretching; as well as chiropractic manipulation and therapeutic exercise.
What are you proud of in your practice?
As a holistic practitioner, I am proud to able to provide patient-specific care that not only offers symptom management but also addresses the root cause of an individual’s pain. Through an integrative approach, each patient is provided with treatment interventions that expedite recovery while also mitigating re-injury. I am also incredibly proud to work collaboratively with a team of highly experienced professionals at Forest Hill Physiotherapy & Health Centre. This team environment ensures each patient receives the ideal treatment that is best suited for his or her individual needs.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I have a diverse patient population and treat everything from work and sports injuries to car accident victims to everyday aches and pains. Each patient is unique and brings with them their own challenges. I enjoy breaking the problem to its true cause and developing specific treatment programs that align with the patient’s specific goals. Some of my favourite cases are complex injuries that require multidisciplinary care. I enjoy working collaboratively with the patient and his or her care team in order to truly understand the problem and optimize care.
