Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

For over ten years I have lived and practice in this amazing community. I use many techniques to treat my patients such as soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, adjusting and mobilization said as well as laser therapy and exercise prescription. I am committed to helping my patients feel their best!

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

Manipulation/Mobilizations Acupuncture Exercise Rehabilitation

What are you proud of in your practice?

Being able to take the time with each patient to listen to them, test and treat them accordingly, and to be able to make a difference in their lives!

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I have two favour areas of the body to treat (other than the spine of course): Firstly, I love to treat FEET! Being a runner for many many years has taught me the importance of feet. If there is a problem with the mechanics of the foot, this can literally throw off the entire body. Gentle little exercises, adjustments or taping of the foot can have a huge impact throughout the body! Feet are amazing! My second favour area to treat is the TMJ (also know as the jaw)! Many people are plagued with jaw problems such as clicking, popping, locking and of course pain! And many people don't realize that as a chiropractor and a joint specialist, there is a lot we can do to help this area of the body. Helping patients to eat, sing and smile without pain is very very rewarding!

I've been to several chiropractors before but always seem to have difficult with neck adjustments. My visit to Melanie Chryssafis was so great. She had no problem adjusting my neck. Her hands were little cold but soon warmed up quickly, when she massaged my neck with lotion, then with a precise movement my neck felt very loose. She is good and I have been back many times.
