Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

My ultimate goal is to empower my clients to care for their body. My role is to educate and provide hands-on care to steer my clients towards healthier joints and muscles so they can move with freedom. My sessions range from 30 - 60 minutes of 1-on-1 care and I apply the techniques that I feel are appropriate for that client. This results in customized care that's catered to the specific client's condition, needs, and goals.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

From my continually expanding repertoire of treatment methods, my top three treatments include neurofunctional acupuncture, myofasical release (base on Functional Range Release), and Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) for joint control and mobility. These techniques, combined with others, have continue to yield excellent results with my current and past clients by addressing the underlying issue and providing clients with actions to take beyond our visit.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am proud of the opportunity to provide 1-on-1 time for my clients where I can investigate the underlying causes and provided a focus, well-rounded treatment. I am also extremely fortunate to work with excellent healthcare practitioners at Sutherland-Chan that I can confidently have my clients visit for treatment that are outside of my scope. Outside of the clinic, I've had the amazing opportunity to work with Team Jamaica at the 2016 Penn Relays, treating top track and field athletes. I've also had the unique opportunity to work with local organizations such as the Toronto Sports and Social Club.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

Every client brings in their unique habits and history and unraveling that to get to the cause of the problem is the part I enjoy the most. As well, any opportunity to allow an open-minded client make a discovery about their condition that shifts their understanding and self-management are empowering moments for both parties. I've had these results in all types of conditions, from back pain referrals from the stomach to posture related neck pain. .
