About

As a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Medical Acupuncture Provider, Dr. Lise Rok can diagnose and treat joints, muscles and nerve injuries anywhere the whole body including the spine. She will work with you to develop a treatment plan that's in line with your goals and lifestyle. Here’s what you can expect from a session with Dr. Rok: 1. Someone who listens. 2. An orthopedic exam followed by a movement assessment. Let’s identify the root cause of your injury and prevent recurrence. 3. A diagnosis. Understanding your injury helps you identify and limit aggravating activities. 4. A variety of manual therapy techniques. Don’t like adjustments? Acupuncture? No problem. Choose from the many post-graduate courses she’s taken. Take a peek below. 5. Education. Learn how to treat yourself at home and train around your injuries at the gym. It's a partnership.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

As a chiropractor, massage therapist, and acupuncturist I have a lot of treatment tools at my disposal; Active Release Therapy (A.R.T), Fascial Stretching, Shockwave Therapy, Functional Movement Screening, Fascial Distortion Model, Athletic Taping, Joint Manipulation, Prescriptive Exercise Rehabilitation, Strength Conditioning & Nutritional Advice, Class 4 Laser, and Graston Technique.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

I specialize in Fascial Distortion, Active Release Therapy, and Functional Movement Screening.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am proud of the integrated comprehensive treatment I provide and the positive results it generates for my patients.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy treating all types of injuries from chronic pain, to acute everyday injuries, to specific sport strains. I have treated professional hockey players, baseball players, Olympic and Para-Olympic athletes, Ironman triathletes, cyclists, to actors and musicians, or weekend warriors, and office workers. I have a special interest in treating the back pain and arthritis. During my Masters of applied science, I bioengineered a fibrocartilage-like interface to aid in the fixation of tissue implants in the treatment of back pain.

She figured out the problem in the first visit and made a plan to fix it. That's pretty pretty good.
