I had previously seen another dentist in Oakland who though I needed to have more work done. I'm glad I came to see Dr. Chan as the second opinion proved to be worth it. Reviewed on January 22nd, 2020 • Verified patientDuring my visit, the dentist (who was filling in for Dr. Chen) was prompt, courteous, and was conservative with recommending expensive treatments (unlike every other dentist I have ever been to). It turns out that 2 of the 3 crowns that my last dentist was recommending was not necessary. However, you’re not getting your teeth cleaning in a private room, it’s a shared room. I didn't have insurance, so things like x-rays would have put it in the $3-400 range.
