Dr. Zietsma received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1980. Upon graduating, he was the recipient of several awards, including the Gold Medal, the Senior Award in Oral Surgery, Senior Award in Pediatric Dentistry and the R.C.D.S. award in Oral Biology. He is married with 3 children and enjoys hiking, skiing, cycling and spending quality time with his family. "At Lighthouse Dental Care, I will always strive to provide modern, state of the art dentistry in a compassionate, caring manner. Getting to know our patient's over the years has led to many, many long term relationships. It is not just about providing stress-free dentistry, but doing so in such a way as to transform apprehensive patients into happy ones! I can truly say that I and my team will always provide you with the best possible dental care." Dr. Zietsma just attended a 2 day course on the new Cerec software in Scottsdale Arizona at the Scottsdale Center for dentistry. Cerec is a superior method to creating durable colour-matched ceramic restoration for filings, full crowns, to veneers. This technology is applied within a single appointment, to ensure your treatment is quick, painless, and effective.
