I normally go to the insurance's website to look for in-network providers. I thought I would go ahead and try it out. I was extremely pleased at the customer service and knowledge of both staff and the doctor. Dr. Yokana took the time to explain and communicate about the health of my teeth. Did not feel rushed and was very comfortable with the visit. So far I’ve had four extractions and some fillings. Dr. Yokana and her staff were comforting, I HATE needles and they were patient and even the dental assistant held my hand. I’ve taken my seven year old daughter for a check-up and she was happy as well. The receptionist is very thorough at explaining my coverage and my dental plan. I’ve recommended her to all my coworkers. I've not had the dentist do a cleaning for me before; it was always dental hygienists that would do it with the dentist coming in at the end to follow up on what the hygienist reported. Dr Yokana performed the cleaning, very fast and gentle, yet efficiently, and was very informative as well. She explained to me things about my teeth and gums that I know other dentists must have noticed but didn't talk to me about.
