Dr. James J. Fitzgerald

James J. Fitzgerald, D.D.S. graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1985. Prior to studying at Georgetown Dental School, he attended St. John's University, where he received a B.S. in Biology, Magna Cum Laude in 1981. James J. Fitzgerald, D.D.S. has been practicing all aspects of General Dentistry for over 29 years, with a focus on Restorative, Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry. Since he began practicing dentistry he has taken over 1600+ hours of continuing education, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care possible. He has studied at the renowned L.D. Pankey Institute, The Dawson Academy and is a Fellow in The Pierre Fauchaud Academy. James J. Fitzgerald, D.D.S. is the Chief of Restorative Dentistry and the Assistant Program Director in the Department of Dental Medicine at Interfaith Hospital in Brooklyn. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the Nassau County Dental Society where he is a member of the Board of Directors and served as its president in 2007. In his free time James J. Fitzgerald, D.D.S. serves on the Board of Directors of the St. John's Kenyan Children's Foundation and is a certified wine sommelier. He is married with 2 children and resides in Garden City.
