Welcome! Plaza Periodontics is a patient-focused, state-of-the-art dental office located in Douglas County, CO. Although we adhere to the highest safety standards and maintain advanced levels of training, we also realize that patients return to our office because we focus on providing friendly, compassionate care tailored around your individual needs. On your first visit with us, Dr. Bardsley will perform a thorough periodontal examination. He will then discuss the different alternatives for treatment to help you come to an informed decision. Our services include laser periodontal therapy, dental implants and many prescriptive and aesthetic procedures. It is our hope that we may help you enhance and preserve your oral health for a lifetime.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I graduated from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry. While there, I was elected to the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society and the Dental Honor Society, Omikron Kappa Upsilon, placing myself in the elite top 5% of dentists nationwide. My dental experience includes patient treatment at The Michigan Department of Health, Michigan Children's Hospital, Detroit- Receiving Hospital, Henry-Ford Medical Center, and a surgical externship at the University of California—Los Angeles. I completed my post-doctorate studies in Periodontology at the Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. At NSU, I received state-of-the-art training in the latest bone regeneration, sinus augmentation, immediate/conventional implant, and oral plastic surgery procedures. As a senior-resident I taught several clinical and lecture courses, and served as part time faculty. I have also completed two outstanding research endeavors. The results from Dr. Bardsley's treatment were so extraordinary that he was invited to lecture to the Florida Academy of Periodontists. I also completed an immediate loading dental implant study which was part of a large international multi-center project for Nobel Biocare. I am a board certified periodontist. This means that I has passed rigorous exams above and beyond what is required in my field and I must renew my certification through continuing education and exams every six years.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I really enjoy doing the LANAP procedure. The advancements that LANAP has made to osseous surgery is amazing. The amount of recession has been reduced, the patients healing time has been shorten, and the amount of discomfort has been decreased to the point that most patients do not need any pain medication.
