Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
I have been in practice since 1985 and have come across almost every situation possible in dentistry and I am very knowledgeable in all disciplines in dentistry. I have a lot of compassion for the patients, especially for those who are so afraid of dentists. I have a very amazing dental staff who also have compassion and make our patients feel comfortable and never make patients feel bad for having bad teeth. We really emphasize the proper method of oral hygiene and home care to help our patients keep their teeth for life. We have state of the art dental technology, from Digital X-Rays that minimize radiation to Diagodent, something that helps detect cavities without the use of X-Rays. In our office we have a Periodontist and an Endodontist so patients do not have to be referred out to another office. Plus we have free parking and a beautiful 180 degree view, from the 2nd floor, of the mountains so no one feels claustrophobic.
What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?
1. We have a Periodontist specialist Dr. Shafi, who places Implants and takes care of Gum Disease. 2. We have a Endodontist specialist Dr. Chong who does Root Canal Treatment and able to save teeth instead of extractions. 3. We specialize in treating Bad Breath and bleeding gums. We not only treat gum disease but we specialize in educating our patients in home care with medicine we have in the office to treat from children to adults
What are you proud of in your practice?
I love that we have the personal touch in our office. We are not aggressive and do not push only one treatment option. We consider each patient's financial situation and give several treatment options that will fit their budget. We break up the treatment plan into different phases so we do the most important treatment first, then wait for the patient to be ready for the next phase. I am proud that we were chosen as one of the offices for "Top Doctors and Dentist of Los Angeles" and were mentioned during a commercial on the Dr. Oz Show.
