Dr. Daniel Cohen

Dr. Cohen was born and raised in Thornhill before heading west to the University of Guelph where he completed both a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biological Sciences and a Master’s degree in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences. After a volunteer trip to rural Ghana in 2011, he was inspired by the experiences teaching oral hygiene and safe health practices to those in need. This led him to pursue a career in dentistry and he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan, where he had the opportunity to provide care to those in underserved areas, as well as a mission trip to Haiti to provide free dental care. Dr. Cohen enjoys getting to know his patients and answering any and all of their questions about dentistry in order to make everyone comfortable in the chair. His easy going nature and sense of humour make visiting the dentist a positive experience for all.
