Dr. Shilpa Vij Sharma received an Honours Bachelors of Science degree with high distinction and a specialist degree in the program of cell and molecular biology. Dr. Sharma then completed a Masters of Science from the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Toronto. In 2008, Dr. Sharma graduated from University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. In her spare time she loves to watch movies, cook, travel and spend time with her family.

I love any opportunity to work with a patient on their dental treatment plan to improve the oral hygiene in the long run, education in a non-judgemental environment is imperative to helping people achieve their dental goals!

Standard level of care with a new office.
Reviewed on August 26th, 2017 • Verified patientFront desk was friendly and inquirer quickly about the level of coverage. I was taken into a clean and modern room after filling in the usual forms. They took x rays of the teeth and a jaw x ray. I met Dr Sharma about 15 minutes later. She went over the xrays results and checked the condition of my gums. I could not see anything wrong with my xrays but apparently I have some cavities. I never had cavities in my life nor have any pain. They asked if I have pain etc. At this point, I was suspicious as dentists have an incentive to bill as much as possible. Apparently. I'll need some work. I do have some mild gum inflammation, but nothing serious since I don't go to their dentist daily like they would wish you did. After some guilt tripping you, they proceed to scale and clean your teeth. I prefer evidence based medicine. Knowledgeable and gentle
