In order to make the best decision for treatment one must know the correct diagnosis (i.e. one must accurately identify the problem in order to know what/how/when to treat it).

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy all aspects of periodontics and dental implants (the are inseparable as they both require an in depth knowledge of disease processes (both the causes and influencing factors). Periodontics is about tooth preservation and knowing what is possible and not possible in saving teeth and making them last in the longterm Dental Implants are not bulletproof; without an understanding of diseases processes and influencing factors (i.e: smoking, clenching/grinding, one's bite, gum disease on remaining teeth, etc) one can not be prepared to ensure longevity of implant treatment
