Dr. Mariya Dzhaniyeva

Dr.Mariya Dzhaniyeva, DDS is a pediatric dentist in New York City. She is a graduate of NYU College of Dentistry. After dental school, she completed a 2 year pediatric residency at Interfaith Hospital in Brooklyn. During residency, she was exposed to countless emergencies, sedations (oral, IV, general anesthesia), and became skilled in all of the procedures done in pediatric dentistry. Most importantly, she learned to make these patients feel comfortable. She has taken multiple courses to learn about new products and techniques out there such making aesthetic Zirconia crowns for pediatric patients. Dr. Dzhaniyeva has lived in New York her entire life and plans on staying here for a very long time. She loves helping out the patient population here and hopes to see these children grow up in the office with healthy teeth and beautiful smiles. In her free time, Dr. Dzhaniyeva loves to cook, travel, hike, and snowboard.

As a pediatric dentist in an area filled with so many families, I am always open to see new patients, emergencies, and to see children grow up as they come for their bi-annual check-ups and cleanings. I am able to communicate with patients and parents and make them feel comfortable in the office. I am proficient in all restorative care that the patient may need such as white fillings, crowns, etc. We also provide non-invasive techniques and medicaments for patients with cavities. Children will feel at ease at our office with our friendly staff, fun and colorful room, music, TV, and laughing gas!

After completing a 2 year Pediatric residency, I am proficient in all areas of pediatric dentistry. I am able to provide multiple options for patients and their parents on various treatments that can be done. I am skilled in restorative care for primary and permanent teeth as well as pulp therapy.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am proud of the amount of professionalism, respect, and teamwork seen in the office. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and makes everyone feel comfortable as soon as they step in. This office has the most advanced technology and is always on the lookout for new products on the market.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy doing preventative care because I am able to evaluate how well the patient is taking care of their teeth at home which is more important than what I can ever do in the dental chair.
