About
Dr. Wayne Kin grew up in Newmarket. His parents owned a local business in Newmarket Plaza where Dr. Kin worked during the summers. His parents always impressed upon him the importance of good dental health as part of good overall health. Dr. Kin embraced this good advice and has passed it on to his family and patients. After receiving his DDS from Case Western Reserve University in 1994 in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Kin completed his residency in care for the developmentally disabled in 1995 and advanced general dentistry in 1996. Dr. Kin practiced dentistry in the United States before returning to Newmarket in 2000. He has been in private practice for 20 years.

Dr. Kin is a member of the York Regional Dental Society, Aurora Dental Study Club, Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry, and he has been published in professional journals. He believes in continuing education and is always taking courses to improve and bring the most current treatment to his patients. Taking care of tomorrows’ smile today is his goal.

Dr. Wayne Kin is very empathetic, as well as the dental assistant, giving me dark glasses for my sensitive eyes, and letting me know that I can stop at any time if I am feeling stressed. He showed me my teeth on the big tv, and explained to me in easy to understand lingo what needs fixed. The office staff were really friendly and accommodating. The dental assistant and hygienist were super friendly and put me at ease throughout my visit.
