Originally from Montreal but born on the island of Mauritius, Dr. Patricia Wan-Chow-Wah is fluent in English, French and Mauritian Creole. She graduated from McGill University in 2002 with the degrees of Doctor of Dental Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Microbiology & Immunology with distinction. To expand her education, she subsequently completed a full year clinical Post-Graduate Dental Residency Program at the Montreal General Hospital with a focus on Periodontics and Prosthodontics. During her dental training, Dr. Wan-Chow-Wah also took part in providing treatment to the less fortunate through McGill’s Outreach program and the Summer Dental Clinic for Children and the Disabled. Dr. Wan-Chow-Wah relocated to Toronto in 2003 and has since been in private practice in Richmond Hill. Committed to excellence and dedicated to being on the cutting edge of her profession, she is certified in Oral Sedation, Nitrous Oxide Sedation and Intra-Venous Moderate Conscious Sedation. She has pursued training in the fields of Occlusion and Temporo-Mandibular Joint Disorders from the Dawson Centre for Advanced Dental Study and also attended the hands-on Millennium Aesthetic Continuing Education series which focuses on anterior aesthetic restorations. With a particular interest in Orthodontics, Dr. Wan-Chow-Wah completed an extensive 2-year course from the Academy of Gp Orthodontics to further expand her knowledge in the field and provide well-rounded care to her patients in the comfort of her family practice. She has also taken part in comprehensive courses at the Misch International Implant Institute, a world renowned facility at the forefront of Implant Dentistry, and completed an Advanced Periodontal and Implant Surgical Program from the University of Michigan-School of Dentistry. Dr. Wan-Chow-Wah takes pride in staying abreast of the latest advancements in her profession and her on-going dedication to continuing education courses has always been with her patients' best interest at heart.
