Dr. Hetal Amin-Patel

Dr. Hetal Amin-Patel received her Doctorate of Dental and Oral Surgery (DDS) from Columbia University's School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1996. As a student, she earned the merit based "Columbia Research Scholarship", and was published in the Journal of Renal physiology. She completed a General Practice Residency at the Allegheny General Hospital, and then worked in a private practice in New York. There she performed specialized dental treatments, including root canals, crowns and bridges, and partial dentures. She also worked for HealthDrive, providing geriatric care in a nursing home setting. Dr. Hetal Amin-Patel was the first dentist at The Smile Center of the Rowan County Health Department, working exclusively on children between 9 months to 18 years of age. She has started her private practice with a vision to provide each and every patient with quality dental care, and personal one on one attention. She takes pride in keeping her office eco-friendly, and equipped with the latest technology.
