About

Dr. Brian Jow graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2018 and went on to complete an AEGD (advanced education in general dentistry) Residency at NYU Langone in 2019. He then moved back to Los Angeles where he practiced dentistry for a few years before moving back up to San Francisco.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I have a long history of working with patients that have the very greatest need for dental care—from working in community clinics during dental school, to working in an FQHC during residency, to working in a Medi Cal-based private practice in Long Beach. I have treated many cases of full-mouth decay or gum disease, and helped these patients return to full dental health and aesthetics. Whether a patient’s needs are small or great, simple or complex, I can meet their needs with confidence and competence. We would love to see you at Marina Tooth Fairy!

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

I focus on a variety of dental treatments at Marina Tooth Fairy, however my top three include crowns, extractions and bridges.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

Losing a tooth is by nature a traumatic life event. However, I often find that the experience of losing a tooth will inspire a patient to take their dental needs more seriously moving forward. I enjoy extraction cases not only for the chance to remove a long-standing source of disease from a patient’s mouth, but for the opportunity to reinforce the importance of dental health. I’d rather not remove anyone’s teeth ever. But when it must be done, I take it as an opportunity, not merely a loss.
