What makes your practice special when compared with others in the area?

Dr. Gutkin places a large emphasis on patient understanding and communication, with the intention that patients both understand what treatments have been proposed and their alternatives, as well as the underlying reasons behind the various dental and oral conditions that may be present driving the need for treatment. It the goal of everyone at Interbay General Dentistry that patients make informed well thought out decisions and become partners in their oral health, rather than simply passive patients. Dr. Gutkin is also concerned with the quality of longevity of the dental work being provided, and encourages patients to take a more comprehensive view of their dental needs rather than just focus on one tooth and one problem at a time.

What are you and your team proud of at your practice?

Dr. Gutkin and staff are exceptionally proud of our new office, construction for which just finished in Summer of 2018. The practice was recently relocated to Interbay from Magnolia (formerly Whole Earth Dental), and now features ground level access, free street and indoor garage parking, as well as the updated design and equipment expected in a modern dental office. On a personal level, Dr. Gutkin and staff work together as a small tight knit team with each member responsible their area of expertise but also working together to help one another in a collaborative work environment. Ultimately, the focus of everyone's efforts at Interbay General Dentistry is on providing high quality patient care and attending to the well being of our patients.
