Dr. Alexandra Nadeau

I am Dr. Alexandra Nadeau and I am a community dentist in the Etobicoke area. I understand that overall health starts in the mouth. My focus is to have all my patients understand that the mouth is part of our body and that it needs to be healthy and functional like every other part. As well my aim to ensure my patients understand that what happens in the mouth affects the rest of our body. It is my top priority to listen to and understand all my patients’ needs and concerns.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I am very passionate about education and I stay current on the latest techniques and helping to educate my patients to help them make the best decisions for their overall health. I always provide a comfortable and caring environment and believe that even the most fearful patient can have a positive experience at the dentist. I want to change peoples perception that the dentist is a place where you get hurt. I will take my time with my patients and ensure they are well cared for.

Restorative, Functional (crowns bridges dentures) and Cosmetic

What are you proud of in your practice?

I believe that it is extremely important to give back to the community and as a result I volunteer in both elementary school and various public health dental clinics and participated in a dental outreach trip to Nain, Labrador. Most of the people in our office actually volunteer to communities that need care and cannot afford it. I am proud to work at Alderwood Family Dentistry because I know that here we all care about every single one of our patients and we take our time. We do not practice assembly line dentistry.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy all aspects of family, general and cosmetic dentistry. I love treating children from a young age and watch them grow into adulthood. I ensure that they have great habits and understand the importance of preventive dentistry
