Dr. Anu’s career in the dental field spans over five years so far, and there’s nothing she enjoys more about her work here at Donlands Family Dentistry than being able to help patients regain true confidence in their smiles. If you’d like to learn more about her background and education, just keep reading below. WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO BECOME A DENTIST? Dr. Anu chose to pursue a career in dentistry because she loves being able to educate others about the value of oral health. Delivering amazing smile improvements to patients that make them happy and result in long-lasting professional relationships is always such a rewarding feeling! WHERE DID YOU STUDY DENTISTRY? Dr. Anu completed her doctorate at Western University in London, ON. Following graduation, she attended a General Practice Residency at The Hospital for Sick Children and is also trained in Invisalign and nitrous oxide. She regularly attends continuing education courses through the Academy of General Dentistry, Ontario Dental Association, and the University of Toronto. OUTSIDE OF THE DENTAL OFFICE, WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO? Whenever she isn’t busy at Donlands Family Dentistry, Dr. Anu enjoys traveling, biking, hiking, practicing photography, and playing musical instruments. She also regularly plants trees as a volunteer with the city of Toronto.

    This was probably one of my least stressful visits to the dentist. Dr. Anu is as gentle as she is professional and really took the time to explain what was happening at every stage of the process. I’m already looking forward to my next procedure at the clinic.
