Dr. Beshoy Tawfik

My name is Dr. Beshoy Tawfik, and I recently moved from Alberta, where I was working for more than three years as a dentist. I enjoyed providing a friendly and comfortable environment for my patients, where I created treatment plans that always prioritized my patients’ concerns, expectations and wishes. Before that, I lived in Montreal where I took my National Dental Board Exams at the University of Montreal in 2011. I was born and raised in Egypt, and enjoyed working as a dentist there for four years after graduating from Ain Shams University in Cairo, with a degree in Dentistry, with honors in 2007. I am very passionate about dentistry, and always keep my knowledge and skills up to date, by participating in continuing dental education. I am part of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association, the Alberta Dental Association and College, and I took a Mini Implant Residency program for a full year in 2017. I am also a certified provider for oral and inhalation sedation, and I am also an invisalign provider. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities, travelling to different places, and watching Manchester United. My team and I welcome new patients and emergencies and are happy to answer your concerns and questions.

My philosophy as a Dental health care professional is to provide optimal service for my patients by ensuring that they receive the best dental care available. I want to ensure that their experience with me is one they enjoy and look forward to repeating. I regard my patients needs with all seriousness and respect, and I design treatments to suit their needs on a variety of different levels.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am proud to be working with an incredible dental team, in Christie Dental Part, which is a very busy and lively office which cares for their patients and accommodates their needs. I enjoy seeing a variety of different cultures on a daily basis, because working in a multicultural setting is very rewarding. I am proud to work with Dr. Hughes and the rest of the staff to restore patient’s smiles and their confidence. I am proud that I provide a variety of services such as: dental implants, veneers, aesthetic dentistry, and root canal therapy.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy treating patients who are experiencing a lot of tooth aches, because I find it very rewarding to see them after I treat them, pain free and relieved from the stress that comes with tooth aches. I also enjoy restoring patient’s smiles, because it makes them walk out with a greater sense of confidence.
