Dr Datt was extremely friendly, he explained what he was looking for and what he was going to do before starting which I appreciate as a nervous patient. It was a pleasant experience overall and I have less anxiety about my next visit! My chair was slightly wobbly, which seemed to give my hygienist a bit of a hard time, especially when flossing my teeth. I initially booked my appointment last Wednesday, and when I showed up I was asked if I had received confirmation from Opencare, which I had not. Opencare didn't book me in their system and in the same lobby were 2 other individuals who had also booked through Opencare but also didn't receive confirmation and didn't have an appointment booked. The receptionist was super nice and changed it to a later time for me. Ended up having Dr. Goldberg (very friendly & professional). The best part of my experience was my hygienist, she was so amazing! Very kind, easy to talk to and made sure I was always comfortable. She did a great job at cleaning my teeth and took the time to explain how I can improve the quality of my daily brushing techniques. I had a lot of problems with my teeth so my entire appointment took two hours. That’s a lot of time! A lot of examinations from Dr. Akash but I appreciate the thoroughness. One thing I am worried about is the cost of everything. Although my insurance covers the appointment, the bill is higher than my previous dentist which is why I am worried about my next follow up appointments. The hygienist quickly went through with the digital scans to create a complete model of my teeth prior to doing a check up. I recommend anyone that previously had braces to see him as he found some cement residue left on my teeth from over 5 years ago and polished it off- citing that this is a common problem. All the staff explained every step to me before they started working on my teeth which I appreciated a lot. My hygienist Ann was thorough and cleaned my teeth without causing any pain!
