Dr. Wong is a valued member to our team at Sheppard Village Dental. Dr. Wong is extremely patient, and takes the time to explain your dental needs and treatment options. She is well-liked by all those that she encounters and is especially skilled at making our younger patients comfortable at each visit. Dr. Wong was born in Hong Kong, and immigrated to Toronto at age 8. In 2005, Dr Wong graduated with a degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine, Magna Cum Laude, at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. In her spare time Dr. Wong continues to take courses in Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, and Esthetic Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Wong has enjoyed helping in the community by volunteering at the Community Clinic (under serviced community) in Massachusetts and Community Service in Pediatric dentistry in Boston. Dr. Wong is a member in good standing with the Canadian Dental Association and Ontario Dental Association. Dr. Wong is fluent in English and Cantonese, Mandarin dialects, Shanghainese (conversational). Dr. Wong enjoys Yoga/Pilates, Arts & Crafts, Reading, Violin/Piano, and watching Movies.

All staff were very approachable and open to questions and explained each process well in the visit. Their team appeared to have good chemistry and communicated together so the entire team had a good understanding of what was happening with me during my visit and what I needed. Dr. Wong herself was honest in her assessment and recommendations. I had to have an emergency dental procedure and the team at Sheppard Village Dental made the process quick and smooth. This was my first time visiting the office and every single member of the team I interacted with was very friendly and professional. Dr Wong took the time to explain everything to me and checked in every few minutes to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Wong really changed my mind. I know now I’m in good hands :) and my teeth have a hope! All the staff there are super nice and gentle. She was keen on identifying no major concerns with regards to that. Also she pointed out a few things which no dentist has ever done and that made my day and I was very glad about that. She actually mentioned how everyday habits can affect our teeth and oral health and eventually effect our body too. Great experience

My fears and anxiety about the dentist is slowly diminishing just after the first visit. I am excited to bring my son and I know he will have a much better dentist experience than I did growing up.
