Dr. Janice K. Lee

Dr. Lee grew up in Toronto, Ontario and moved to the United States to further her education after graduating from high school at Havergal College. She was accepted into an early-decision combined Bachelor's degree/Doctor of Dental Medicine degree program at Tufts University, where she graduated with cum laude honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Following her eight years in Boston, she completed a multi-disciplinary General Practice Residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center/New York Medical College in New York City, where she treated patients and received advanced training in all dental specialties, including pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, fixed and removable prosthetics, and the treatment of medically compromised patients. After her time in the United States, she moved back to Toronto and is glad to be back home! She received her Board Certification with The National Dental Examining Board of Canada, The American National Board Dental Examinations, as well as The Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners of the American Dental Association. She is also a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. In her free time, she enjoys travelling the world, and is an avid tennis and Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

I treat all patients with care and compassion, empathizing with their dental concerns. I ensure that communication with the patient is clear, discussing all options so the patient is able to make an informed decision.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

I enjoy preventative dentistry, pediatric/kid's dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry.

What are you proud of in your practice?

What I am most proud of in our practice is the genuine empathy and care we have for our patients. Whether it be our helpful front desk staff, or the way our doctors interact with each patient, we always strive to make the patient's visit as comfortable as possible. Our office manager and secretary will always work with each patient to ensure proper booking times and insurance submissions. Our doctors will always discuss each treatment option thoroughly with our patients to allow them to make an informed decision.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy performing all family dentistry procedures, including fillings/restorations, emergency dentistry, dental hygiene/cleanings, extractions, root canal therapy, and cosmetics.
