Dr. Paul Tinto

Dr. Tinto is actually a longtime patient of Dr. Massimo Papini’s! He grew up in the area, attending St. Clare’s Catholic school, and then went on to become a dentist, graduating from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Tinto graduated on the Dean’s list and was honoured with awards recognizing his aptitude in Periodontics as well receiving the award in his class for Ethics. Dr. Tinto previously worked out in Kitchener, Ontario where he practiced before coming back to his home on St. Clair. Dr. Tinto is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and has learned all he could get by having Dr. Max as his mentor. We are sure you will love him! Dr. Tinto has a passion for volunteer work, having volunteered his time in the cancer unit of St. Michael’s hospital in Toronto, as well as on mission trips in third-world countries providing dental care to the underprivileged. In his spare time, Dr. Tinto enjoys biking, exploring different areas of the city, and trying new and exotic foods. Let him know about your favourite restaurant!

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

Dr. Paul Tinto grew up in the St Clair area, having attended St. Clare Catholic School as a child. He is extremely passionate about dentistry and helping patients take control of their oral health through education. He understands the area and having been mentored by Dr. Massimo Papini, has a very conservative and preventative approach to oral health care. If you chose Dr. Tinto as your dentist you have an enthusiastic dentist who will take care of you for life.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

Dr. Tinto's primary focus is on prevention, but when issues arise Dr. Tinto focuses his time on more complex procedures such as wisdom tooth and regular teeth extractions, root canals and replacing missing teeth.

What are you proud of in your practice?

Dr. Tinto is so proud to call his old dentist his new home. He has attended Dr. Papini's practice since he was a child and now has taken over for Dr. Max as he transitions into retirement. He's proud to serve the community that he grew up in and is still proud to call his home.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

Dr. Tinto loves helping patients achieve a healthy mouth by educating them on the different aspects of dentistry. His passion is in preventative dentistry and strives to show patients how to prevent dental disease before it becomes a problem.
