Dr. Valerie Stavro

Dr. Valerie Stavro is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Dental Surgery. In addition she completed a post-graduate year at the Toronto Hospital, focusing on medically compromised dental patients. Dr. Stavro teaches part-time at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. She was recently elected a fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. She is a member at the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons and the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. As President of the Alumni Association, she actively supports the Dental Research Institute at the University of Toronto. Celebrating almost 30-years of dental practice experience in Toronto, Dr. Stavro shares her facination for laser and computerized dentistry with her husband and colleague, Dr. Stephen Andrews. Dr. Stavro is passionate about raquet sports and the Arts in Toronto, and is a supporter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Dr. Stavro was recently inducted as a fellow of the International College of Dentists (ICD) for service, leadership, professional excellence, and integrity.
