Dr. Youngwoo Joo

I am Dr. Joo. I was born in Korea and currently reside in Vaughan, Canada. I received my undergraduate training at University of Toronto and graduated with degrees in zoology and human biology. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry. I have received extensive training in dental bone grafting using a process called Platelet Rich Fibrin, or PRF, which offers optimum results and healing. I also completed advanced training in periodontal, or gum, surgeries, and he’s certified for administering IV sedation. One of the things I enjoys most about being a dentist is getting to know his patients and building trust and life-long relationships. I love educating patients about the importance of oral health and how it affects their overall well-being. I consider the appreciation and acknowledgment from patients for the quality of work they received one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. When he’s not helping patients maintain their oral health, Dr. Joo can be found snowboarding, golfing, or watching basketball.

Dental emergency. I love to get patients out of pain and it is instant gratification. I also enjoy extractions. implants and sedation dentistry.
