Dr. Sheth earned a Bachelor of Arts & Science from McMaster University and then worked at the Institute of Population Health in Ottawa on research related to preventative health screening for immigrants and refugees. She then returned to McMaster University for medical school and then completed a Family Medicine residency in Toronto at Mount Sinai Hospital. She has a diverse array of interests within family medicine including women’s health, immigrant/refugee health, and minor office procedures (IUD insertions). Dr. Sheth participated on a medical mission trip in 2013 with the Rotary Club to provide medical care to Haitian refugees living in Dominican Republic. She is involved with teaching medical students at the University of Toronto. She speaks English & Gujarati. Her family practice is currently closed. Dr. Nadiim Rajabalee, Dr. Fola, and Dr. Harvey are accepting new patients.
Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
We opened Citrus Medical Centre in September 2014 with the patient in mind. Our mission is simple--to provide patients the highest standard of care we can. Here are a few things that we strive towards: - Little to no wait times for walk-in patients (open 8am-8pm) - Best communication to patients in clinic and via social media - Informative online videos - Welcoming environment - Wifi at all locations - Informative media to keep you occupied - Pushed information to keep you fully up to date - Easy step by step direction on how to get to the clinic - Multiple easy to access clinics (398 Royal York Rd, Opening soon at 2240 Lakeshore)
What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?
1. Disease prevention: promoting a healthy diet and exercise, smoking cessation, cancer screening, immunizations 2. Well baby visits: enjoy educating parents in how to care for their baby/infant/toddler, etc 3. Women's health: family planning, contraception, etc
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I have a diverse array of interests within family medicine including women’s health, immigrant/refugee health, and minor office procedures (IUD insertions, laceration management, lumps/bumps removal). While I enjoy caring for patients with chronic conditions, my passion is in disease prevention - I discuss proper nutrition, exercise, smoking cessation and stress reduction with all of my patients.
