Julie received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Puget Sound in 2009. She is a Certified Clinical Instructor though the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She is dedicated to pursuing knowledge though continued professional education and has taken numerous courses on orthopedic and pediatric topics. Julie brings a wealth of experience to the NWPT's team from a variety of different settings, including outpatient clinic setting in pediatrics and orthopedics. She has a background in aquatics, school-based and early intervention therapies. Julie especially enjoys working with children with orthopedic injuries, infants with torticollis, children with developmental delays, and teens with sports injuries. She is committed to helping children reach their highest functional capabilities by inspiring their enjoyment and active participation in physical therapy activities. She is dedicated to educating children and their families by connecting them to community activities. At home, Julie enjoys reading, yoga, kickboxing, and spending time with her family and friends.
