Priscilla (Penny) is a graduate of the University of Washington, in 1981 she achieved her Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and in 1997 she received a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, specializing in pediatrics. In 1987, she co-founded Northwest Pediatric Therapies. Since 2001, she has maintained her Board Certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists (ABPTS) in Pediatric Physical Therapy. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of settings including, hospitals, school districts, and home based programs. Penny has dedicated her career towards advancing clinical skills, knowledge and research in pediatric physical therapy. She is a long standing member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA); and in 2010, Penny received the Out Standing Pediatric Clinician Award from the APTA, Pediatrics Section. As an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor, she enjoys mentoring to anyone interested in pediatric physical therapy. She enjoys working with all ages of children, infants to young adults, and has supported community programs for children with physical challenges. In her free time she enjoys gardening, hiking and boating.
