Jeparaj is a registered physiotherapist with College of Physiotherapist of Ontario who graduated with a Master in Physical Therapy from the DR MGR medical University India. His overall goal is to help you return to the activities you enjoy and help prevent future injuries.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I firmly believe in treating the root cause of a problem not just the symptoms – and will take the time to ensure patients understand their injury and how to best manage it and prevent recurrence. Have you ever had trouble reverse parking because your neck was stiff? Or you had to stay in bed for a few days because your back was so sore? It’s my job to help clients park their car and get out of bed!

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

Exercise prescription, manual therapy (joint mobilizations, soft tissue release) and electrotherapeutic modalities (ultrasound, TENS, laser). I believe that a combination of hands on therapy as well as exercises leads to the most success when recovering from pain or injury.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I love being a physiotherapist because it enables me to contribute positively to people’s lives by using a variety of evidence-based treatments.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I have clinical experience in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, acute care hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and Long-Term care facilities. These experiences enabled me to work with a wide range of conditions including orthopedic (musculoskeletal) injuries, Neuro muscular, Cardiothoracic. My focus is now on musculoskeletal or orthopedic conditions. Whether you are an office worker or an athlete, I enjoy seeing you through your recovery and helping improve your quality of life. It is satisfying when these patients notice a difference fairly quickly and have a fast return to their activities of daily life.
