Biography

Prior to opening Physiotherapy On Wheels in 2003, I was a three-time Canadian Olympic gymnast, (1988, 1992, and 1996) a double gold medalist at the Commonwealth Games (1990 and 1994) and Canadian National Gymnastics Champion (1993). After obtaining my Kinesiology (1996) and Health Sciences degree in Physiotherapy (1998) from McMaster University, I completed advanced manual therapy courses and received my certification in acupuncture (CAFCI) as well as neurodevelopmental treatment (C/NDT). In my spare time I enjoys golfing, traveling, and watching both my daughters compete in dance.

I have been pleasantly surprised by my treatment at Physiotherapy on Wheels. Everyone who works there is friendly and welcoming, the treatments are great with a good mix of massage/ultrasound treatment and strengthening exercises and I truly feel as though they are working for me. All staff seem to genuinely care for the patients and my appointments are always on time which is very important to me as I do these in my lunch breaks. I would highly recommend.
