Marc is a new addition to the Back on Track team. He graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2015 with a Masters of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Marc completed a Bachelor of Science with honours in Human Kinetics (Magna Cum Laude), throughout which he worked as a student athletic therapist with the University of Ottawa Men’s Varsity hockey team for 2 years. As a student, he completed intensive clinical placements in outpatient cardiac rehab, acute neurology and orthopaedic private practice settings and was awarded for the highest overall performance in clinical placements. With the desire to provide excellent patient care, Marc has completed courses in Lumbar Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (Robin Mckenzie Institute of Canada) as well as his Level 1 Manual Therapy certification from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Marc has also developed a keen interest in postural conditions such as scoliosis and plans on continuing his education with courses focused on Global Postural Reeducation. Marc is from a small, francophone community in Northern Ontario and can offer his services in both French and English. Marc spends his spare time either playing hockey or enjoying the outdoors by fishing and hunting.
