Bonnie obtained an Honours Bachelor of Health Science with distinctions when she attended the University of Western Ontario, double majoring in Rehab Sciences and Psychology. Propelled by her undergraduate achievements Bonnie completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Bonnie completed her Acupuncture Canada Certification and has continually added to her education, most recently through the orthopaedic Manual Therapy Curriculum and The McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. Bonnie believes the field of physical therapy is continually evolving and in order to provide her patients with the utmost care she must continue to expand her knowledge. In 2014, Bonnie was voted “Best Physiotherapist in Hamilton” by the Hamilton Spectator’s reader choice award. Physical Therapy has allowed Bonnie to combine her inherent caring nature with her fascination for the human body. Her ultimate goal with her patients is to always find the root cause of their condition. Through the combination of her extensive education and multimodal manual therapy approach, Bonnie helps her patients feel healthy and stay healthy. This approach to treatment includes stretching, joint mobilization, soft tissue, exercise, as well as acupuncture. Bonnie has effectively treated a wide range of different orthopaedic cases, sports related injuries, and chronic pain issues and has a special interest in pre and post-surgical rehab.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I get to the root cause of what is causing pain or dysfunction. If you just treat the symptoms the problem will likely return. I work with patients to get them feeling better and stay better!

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

- Manual Therapy - Gunn IMS - Therapeutic Exercise

What are you proud of in your practice?

Making patients feel comfortable. Patients need to trust their health care provider and understand their condition. It's rewarding to have patients return to see you with new issues because they trust you.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy all cases especially complex issues that require problem solving and breaking down the issue into the small parts to tackle.
