Jared is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where he received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Previously, Jared received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, and has been in the rehabilitation field working with children, older adults, and varsity athletes since 2013. Jared has pursued post-graduate education in manual therapy, having completed his Level 1 Manual Therapy Certification. He is also a certified K-Tape therapist. Jared understands the importance of continuing education, and is currently pursuing an acupuncture and dry-needling certification. Jared has been involved in various sports and athletics throughout his life, including provincial level soccer and competitive hockey, volleyball, and powerlifting. He has recently taken up wakeboarding as his new favourite hobby over the summer months. In his spare time, you can find him in the gym, playing beach volleyball, walking his dog, or cycling around the city!

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I believe in a hands-on approach to rehabilitation that puts the focus on reaching all of your goals. I believe that education is of the utmost importance in the physiotherapy world; being able to understand your injury and all the factors that may be contributing to your pain always leads to more successful outcomes. I don't just treat the injury, but instead I identify the root cause of impairment in order to make meaningful and lasting improvements in your symptoms. To me, your rehabilitation doesn't stop when you leave the clinic. I am constantly working to improve my knowledge and skills to become a better physiotherapist. Outside of your treatment times, I am actively working to develop your treatment plan. I also make a point to provide my contact information to all clients for any questions, concerns, or clarifications that may be needed. Even once your treatment is over, you can still feel free to reach out!

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

I use a variety of hands-on methods to treat clients, which include spine and joint mobilizations, soft tissue mobilizations, and exercise prescription.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I'm proud that I get to walk into work every day with a smile on my face, knowing that I'm making such a difference in people's lives. I love it when a client walks into my office after a hard or painful day and is able to leave feeling much improved and with a smile on their face.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I chose physiotherapy because of the wide range of people and cases that walk into my door! Along with sprains and strains, spine pain and joint pain, I love to treat mechanical headaches and a range of other conditions. Whether you're an athlete, looking to improve your fitness, or have been involved in a motor vehicle or workplace injury, I'd love to work with you to meet your rehabilitation goals.

After only two weeks of physic with Jared, I already notice great improvements in the muscular performance of my knee, and reduction in pain. It feels great to get back into gear with optimal physical movement, and to receive such stellar attention and quality of care. Looking forward to increasingly better results moving forward. Thank you!
