She specializes in core stability training, medical acupuncture, manual therapy and functional strength training. She believes that the human body is complex and each individual is unique. Joelle leads an active lifestyle and has a strong interest in nutrition. She truly believes that overall health and wellness requires a balance of all aspects of life, from the inside out.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

Joelle has been a physiotherapist for nearly 10 years, working primarily in the orthopaedic and sport environment, advancing her skills through numerous courses, conferences and clinic time with mentors. She will treat you like the unique individual that you are, assessing movement patterns that have contributed to your injuries and finding those faulty patterns that may lead to future injury. Her approach is to not only help you recover but also prevent future injury and help you perform at your very best. She will work with you to help you achieve your goals when it comes to movement and overall health and wellness.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

Manual Therapy Neurofunctional Acupuncture Core, Pelvic Floor exercises and return to sport training

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am proud of the team I get to work with every day, the mentors and colleagues that I have surrounded myself with which allow me to be the best physiotherapist I can be. I am proud to be able to offer various tools to my patients to help them with their health, from exercises to manual therapy and acupuncture, to nutrition coaching. My goal was always to be able to offer wholistic, integrative care to my patients and I can truly say I am achieving that with them.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

Many cases excite me. I love working with moms (before, during and after pregnancy) looking to properly and safely get back to exercise and activity. I love working with athletes of any level who have sport related goals (recovering from injury and especially for performance enhancement) I love working with anyone looking to be able to move and be active regularly. Every case is different which is why every case excites me. The patient I see in front of me is a new challenge I get to work with, a person I get to work with to achieve a positive change in their life.
