About
Joseph is an experienced therapist who focuses on delivering evidence-based treatment and helping his patients achieve their goals quickly. He has experience treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including repetitive strain injuries, sports injuries, post-operative conditions, osteoarthritis and injuries from a motor vehicle accident. Joseph attempts to find the root of his patient's problem by conducting a thorough physical assessment followed by an individualized treatment plan that may include a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription and therapeutic modalities. Joseph completed his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy (M.Sc.PT) from the University of Toronto in 2009. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Exercise Science from Concordia University. Joseph has continued to improve his patient outcomes by taking numerous post-graduate courses including acupuncture, Mulligan Concepts, the Mckenzie Method, soft tissue release, courses on running injuries and therapeutic taping courses. His dedication to learning has allowed him to develop a deep and wide-ranging skill set to help his patients achieve their goals quickly. In his free time, Joseph enjoys running, playing soccer, walking his dog and spending time with his friends and family.
Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
I am a Registered Physiotherapist with 8 years experience treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions. I have taken many post graduate courses that allow me to treat patients using an evidence based approach.
What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?
Manual Therapy (Joint mobilizations and/or soft tissue release), individualized exercises programs, patient education
What are you proud of in your practice?
Being able to individualize patient's treatment plans to maximize their progress and recovery time.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
As a runner and as a therapist who has taken courses on running injury prevention and given talks on running injury prevention, some of my favorite cases to treat are running injuries.
