Keren completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she graduated from McMaster Univeristy with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology. Through her clinical experience, Keren has had the opportunity to treat patients with a variety of orthopaedic conditions. She employs a combination of techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education to restore optimal function and promote patient recovery. Keren is passionate about continuing her education and expanding her physiotherapy clinical skills and knowledge. She has obtained her certification in Level I Manual Therapy and Soft Tissue Release. She is eager to begin the McMaster Contemporary Acupuncture program in the spring, and plans to pursue her FCAMPT designation. Keren strongly believes in the importance of leading an active lifestyle and encourages patients to manage their health by staying active. Her active hobbies include weight training, cycling, hot yoga, and hiking.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I am a firm believer in addressing the underlying causes of dysfunction that are leading to symptom development. Instead of simply addressing current symptoms, my approach is to find the sources of these symptoms in order to prevent future recurrences. This includes evaluating movement patterns, identifying muscular imbalances, and distinguishing lifestyle-related factors that are contributing to the condition.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

Each treatment is highly individualized according to a patient’s needs, which includes manual therapy, soft tissue release and exercise prescription.

What are you proud of in your practice?

Empowering my patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation and enabling them to self-manage their conditions. I aim to inform and motivate my patients to help them achieve their personal goals, whether they are to optimize health, athletic performance, or restore function after injury.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy treating individuals who are seeking treatment to overcome the aches and pains that prevent or limit them from participating in activities they enjoy.

Keren was super pleasant, attentive and was very specific to my future needs. Only 1 session (assessment), until I have more sessions I cannot be more detailed yet.
