Megan holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY. Prior to this, Megan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University. Megan spent the first several years of her career, working in the U.S. where she developed a passion for working with orthopaedic clientele of varying activity levels. She has experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal dysfunctions including sports injuries, general overuse injuries, postural dysfunctions, post-operative care, extremity and spine injuries. She has taken additional courses in manual therapy, functional exercise, IASTM, cupping, and kinesiology taping. Megan has a strong belief in the use of manual therapy in conjunction with functional exercise to achieve client-specific goals. She enjoys running and has taken courses that allow her to implement her hobby into her profession. Megan is always seeking to develop her skills and learn new techniques that are in alignment with evidenced-based practice. Megan believes strongly in the use of physiotherapy and will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan to help you meet your needs.
