Naomi is a University of Toronto graduate with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She has also completed a Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Ottawa. Naomi assesses the contributing factors to an injury so that any underlying causes can be addressed and recurrent injury can be avoided. She takes a client centered approach to helping patients of all ages, helping them understand and recover from their injuries, getting them back to the activities they are passionate about. While in Whistler British Columbia, Naomi had experience treating some of Canada’s highest level athletes, giving her deeper appreciation of the importance and desired speed to return safely to one’s sport. She continues to take post-graduate courses in advanced manual and manipulative physiotherapy for her FCAMPT designation, along with soft tissue release techniques. Outside of the clinic, Naomi loves spending time cross country and downhill skiing, mountain biking, hiking, ultimate frisbee and water sports.

Each of my assessment and treatment sessions are individualized and client centered with evidence based techniques. I put a strong emphasis on manual therapy and exercise prescription.

-Manual therapy including joint mobilizations, soft tissue release techniques and stretching. - Exercise prescription for muscle imbalance, correcting posture and strengthening. - Education for clients to understand injury and rehabilitation process and importance of home exercise component.

I enjoy treating clients of all ages and athletic abilities. I particularly enjoy treating orthopaedic and sports related injuries.
