Biography

Orsi graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Masters of Physical Therapy. She also holds a Masters in Physical Education from Semmelweis University, Hungary. She is currently working towards completing the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy levels (FCAMPT). Orsi has taken multiple courses in running injury prevention & treatment, acupuncture, soft tissue mobilization, McKenzie method and Mulligan concept. Orsi enjoys being on a continuous quest for knowledge that allows her to provide cutting edge treatment of the highest quality for her patients. Life-long learning about physical therapy is Orsi's passion.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

My treatment is an evidence -informed style of practice. I am passionate about educating clients about their condition and believe in finding the root cause of an injury, not just treating the symptoms. I encourage patients to be active participants in their recovery process so they may achieve sustainable success.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

I treat a variety of orthopaedic conditions ranging from sport to repetitive strain impairments. I have a special interest in running injuries and extensive knowledge of sport-specific movement patterns, biomechanics, and technique.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am proud of the results I achieve for my patients through a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, acupuncture, taping, and electrotherapeutic modalities. My goal is to ensure clients reach their full physical functioning potential.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy treating a variety of injuries but I do have a special interest in running injury prevention and rehabilitation. As an avid runner, gym goer, squash player, and outdoor enthusiast I understand how frustrating it can be when your potential is impeded.

My first experience with Orsi was fantastic! She answered all my questions and explained what she was doing/thinking and why she was doing taking that approach. I'm looking forward to continuing my appointment's with Orsi and getting my knee pain under control.

This was my first visit. None of their card readers worked. It was inconvenient. Orsi was helpful and booked me out of her regular schedule. The location is good and right above the King-Yonge subway station.
