Raymond graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and obtained his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. His work in hospital, private practice, and sports medicine settings has given him experience in successfully treating all age groups. As a result, he has treated various injuries, ranging from acute to chronic, minor sprain/strains to post-operative, pediatric to elderly, and competitive to amateur athletes. Using an evidence-based approach, he prescribes rehabilitation programs that are specific to meet each patient’s goals. Raymond has also taken courses on Acupuncture, dry needling and Vestibular Rehabilitation.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I have over 7 years of experience as a Registered Physiotherapist with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and a Bachlor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. I have also continued to add to my skillset by taking courses in Manual Therapy, Acupuncture and Vestibular Rehabilitation. With my experience I have been able to successfully treat clients with a wide range of orthopedic injuries and have been able to help patients reach their goals as quickly as possible. After assessing a patient I treat the root cause of their pain and not just the symptoms. I use an evidenced based approach with all my patients and prescribe individualized rehabilitation programs to help meet specific goals which has resulted in a high level of patient satisfaction

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

Manual therapy, exercise prescription, functional movement systems

What are you proud of in your practice?

I’m proud that I am able to quickly and effectively collaborate and communicate with physicians about mutual patients and their progress with physiotherapy. I am also proud that I am able to help patients reach their rehabilitation goals as soon as possible and that my patients always leave their appointment feeling satisfied with the treatment. My patients often refer friends and family to me due to their high level of satisfaction.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy assessing and treating all my clients no matter what their condition is however I especially enjoy treating sports injuries. Sport injuries usually take more screening, treatment and preparation to return to a sport compared to returning to your day-to-day movements. I enjoy helping my patients not only return to their daily activities, but also help them achieve their athletic goals. I have taken post graduate courses in Vestibular Rehabilitation and therefore also have a strong interest in treating patients with vestibular pathologies such as vertigo.

This was my first experience with a physio therapist and the experience was good. Raymond was friendly, knowledgeable and was re assuring for some treatment prescribed. Provided helpful tips I could do for myself. As this was an initial visit I can only say it was positive and hope it continues for the remainder of my treatment.
