What makes your practice special when compared with others in the area?
I am a clinical and coaching psychologist as well as a neuropsychologist who evaluates and provides psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults. I received my Ph.D. from Fordham University and completed my clinical psychology internship at Westchester County Medical Center Psychiatric Institute/New York Medical College. I also completed a post-doctoral training program in clinical neuropsychology at Fielding Graduate University. As a clinician, I primarily utilize cognitive-behavioral techniques including but not limited to cognitive restructuring, systematic desensitization, functional analytic psychotherapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I also have a special interest in transpersonal psychotherapy and organizational psychology. When appropriate, I employ hypnosis and modalities such as EMDR, EFT, and TFT, particularly in cases of PTSD. As a life coach, I use the principles of positive psychology and NLP to help others achieve their life and career goals as well as to assist them in reaching their peak potential.
What are you and your team proud of at your practice?
I am a dedicated, positive, and empathic psychologist and coach with a good sense of humor who prides himself on being a lifelong learner. I believe in the power of psychology to help others change their behavior and change their lives for the better.
