My practice is only available on these days as a consulting position takes me elsewhere. I AM ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS. I no longer offer child play therapy but can work with children in the context of family therapy and parent-child (children) therapies.
What makes your practice special when compared with others in the area?
I am a Ph. D. Licensed Psychologist with 40+ years experience. I also have a Marriage and Family License. Group therapy is very powerful and is available on Thursdays in the evenings. I have a background as a clergyman and hold to a deeply spiritual style while nevertheless respecting whatever faith, or no faith, an individual holds. I am a widower who was married for 45 years and I enjoy two married adult sons and their families of 5 grandchildren, ages elementary school to college, two boys and three girls.
What are you and your team proud of at your practice?
I enjoy the people who share their lives and struggles with me and while I understand that every one has life struggles and troubles, I look to develop growth, joy, gratitude, forgiveness and courage in the face of difficulty as well as personal and shared faith and hope. Family and celebration-fun are highly desirable but individual singleness has validity for some.
