What makes your practice special when compared with others in the area?
Our goal is to provide a wide range of services, to people of all ages, to help restore hope and restoration in all relationships – with ourselves, with others and with God. Our experienced therapists have wide-ranging areas of specialization, yet are unified in the God-centered perspective that serves as a foundation for their professional and personal lives. We have a play-therapy room for families and children, a bilingual therapist (Spanish), and offer pet-assisted therapy. We have a men's sexual integrity group and a spousal support group. Clients are welcomed regardless of race, national origin, religion or age. CPC therapists have established and welcome a wide range of referral relationships, from physicians to educational institutions to pastors. Our session hours vary, but with a number of therapists we are able to offer convenient times for appointments, including evening times. Saturday appointments can be made by special arrangements. Our CPC Therapists are licensed and professionally credentialed to offer you comprehensive counseling services for adults, adolescents, & children. We are conveniently located in the Image Building just east of the intersection of I-96 and 28th Street SE, near the Cascade Meijer store.
What are you and your team proud of at your practice?
In February 2005 Dr. Jan Bentley established Centennial Park Counseling LLC, with the mission of providing distinctly Christian Counseling Services that would meet the needs of individuals, families and organizations in the Grand Rapids area and surrounding communities. In February of 2009 these services were expanded by the joining of former Dayspring therapists and continues to expand with new therapists. The tradition of professionalism, integrity and compassion continues to be a commitment of the Centennial Park Counseling PLC team today. We are a committed group of mental health professionals, unified in the foundation of a God centered World-View, offering counseling services to people of all ages looking for help and hope for restoration of right relationships with others, themselves, and God.
