What makes your practice special when compared with others in the area?
Thank you for reaching out and for giving me the opportunity to help you during this difficult time in your life. I am so sorry you are struggling at this time and I hope to be able to help you manage your emotional pain and struggles. Choosing to get treatment is the best decision you could have made. Recognizing that you cannot fix it on your own is a very powerful and courageous decision. Emotional issues require treatment just as medical issues do. You are not trained nor should you have to fix them yourself. You alone cannot do it. If you could have , I'm sure you would have by now. It takes strength in admitting you need help. I congratulate you for taking this first step and am honoured you have reached out to me. I am here to help, guide and support you during this journey. You shouldn't do it alone. I will try my very best to help you heal.
What are you and your team proud of at your practice?
Hello. I am Dr.Antonella Magnatta. I have many years of experience practicing therapy in hospital, corporate, and mental health institutions. Treatment is provided with evidence-based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Integrative Therapy, PTSD Trauma Therapy. Treatment provided for depression, anxiety, stress, life transition, women's issues, marital issues, workplace stress and many other issues. Therapy is provided within a collaborative approach where clients are actively involved in therapy so that the treatment plan is tailored to meeting their best interests. I highly value the input of clients so that together we can work to achieve improvement in their emotional and mental health towards a more fulfilling life. I was also a consultant, cast member, and Cold Case Investigator in the tv documentary series "To Catch A Killer" on the Oprah Winfrey Network which focussed on the investigation of cold case murders through Southern Ontario I believe in treating the whole person and feel it's important to assess one's physical health, environment, lifestyle circumstances and well as their mental health. I strongly believe in the mind-body connection. Our mind influences how our body feels and our body influences how our mind feels. One cannot only focus on one area since they are so intricately tied together. I look forward to working with you so that you can live the life you deserve to live. Thank you for the opportunity to do so.
