Marieta is a graduate of Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto and has completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University. Her passion lies in treating athletes of all levels, and has worked with marathon runners, CrossFit athletes, alpine skiers, and rock climbers. Aside from treating sports related conditions, Marieta has worked with cancer and spinal cord injury patients, as well as the general public. As a former professional rock-climber, Marieta is aware of the limits we push our bodies through and how they affect our health. She designs individual treatment plans to help clients achieve their health and fitness goals and reduce the chance of injuries. Marieta is a firm believer in active and healthy living. She has been a rock-climbing instructor for over 10 years, and became a yoga instructor in 2010. She is looking to pursue the Active Release Techniques® (A.R.T.®) certificate next and is working towards becoming a Sports Massage Therapist (CMT).
